The Advent Truth.
America is not becoming more Christian. It is becoming more politically religious.

There’s a difference.

The government is increasingly flattering evangelical Christianity with promises of “taking the nation back,” “restoring morality,” and “saving the culture.” But Bible prophecy warned this would happen. A power would arise that LOOKS lamb-like while eventually speaking “as a dragon.” The Holy Bible

The danger is not Christianity influencing society through love, truth, and conversion of heart. The danger is Christianity using the power of the state to enforce morality outwardly while hearts remain unchanged.

Throughout history, whenever church and state unite, persecution follows.

Many evangelicals are being sweet-talked into believing political power is the answer to America’s problems. But Jesus never told His followers to seize control of Caesar’s throne. Christ said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” The apostles changed the world through the gospel, not legislation.

The frightening part is that millions of Christians are being conditioned to believe that forcing “Christian values” through government power is righteousness. But forced worship has NEVER been God’s method.

That is why prophecy warns about an “image to the beast.” Not atheism. Not secularism. A counterfeit Christian system using civil power to enforce religious practices.

This is why Bible-believing Christians should be deeply cautious whenever politicians begin using the language of faith to gain unquestioning loyalty. A government cannot convert the heart. Laws can restrain behavior, but only Christ transforms the soul.

And once a nation believes it is “doing God’s work” by enforcing religion, dissenters quickly become enemies.

History repeats itself.

The issue in the last days will not merely be politics. It will be worship, conscience, and obedience to God versus obedience to man.

The solution is not abandoning truth. It is returning to genuine Christianity centered on Christ, Scripture, repentance, and obedience born from love — not coercion.
