I AM THE DOOR
John 10:7-9 NLT
I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.
Many doors in life promise happiness, success, security, or purpose, yet leave us empty. Jesus doesn't merely point to the door—He says, “I am the door.” He is the entrance into a relationship with God, the refuge for weary souls, and the Shepherd who leads His people to abundant life. When uncertainty surrounds us, we can rest knowing that the Door is open and His invitation still stands.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Jesus, the Door to salvation, peace, and eternal life. Help me to trust Him fully and not seek security in the things of this world. Lead me through every challenge and keep me close to Your heart. Thank You that through Christ I have forgiveness, protection, and the promise of abundant life. May I follow my Shepherd faithfully each day.
