The rise in conspiracy theories seems to be directly proportionate to the lack of faith that people have with our institutions due to the fact that we've been lied to more times that we can remember. While it is commendable to want to search for truth, we should all be very careful that we are not believing something just because it is an alternative to an institution's lies.

Satan and his followers do operate in conspiracy and darkness but trying to determine everything they're doing is an endless black hole that will steal our peace and joy. We should not be naive of how the enemy operates and if we feel led to we should expose works of darkness, but it is important for us to stay focused upon things like the list given to us in Philippians 4:8. I have to remind myself of these things on a regular basis.
