Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 17 June 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar.
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead … (Romans 1:20)
God displays His power
We cannot see the living God with our physical eyes. Nevertheless, it is possible for us to get to know Him. He has revealed Himself in creation. When we reflect on how God created everything in heaven and on earth, we get an impression of His eternal power. Psalm 33:9 says, “For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.” That’s how powerful God is!
We also marvel at the complex processes in nature or the wonder of a baby being formed in the womb. In these, we recognise the wisdom of God, who has the ability to create such things. David expresses his reverence for his Creator in words: “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14).
The almighty and wise Creator God expects reverence and obedience from us, His creatures. Has He received it? No! Instead of honouring our Creator through our way of life, we rebelled against Him and went our own ways. Through evil thoughts, wicked words and wrong deeds, we made ourselves guilty before God. The Bible does not give us a good report: “They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one” (Romans 3:12).
Therefore, we all need the Son of God as our personal Saviour.
Today’s reading: Leviticus 7:22-38 – Psalms 54:1-7
