_WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF GOD'S WORD_
KEY VERSE:``` "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (PSALM 119:105).
_The psalmist lived in a dark world, much like ours. Decisions, temptations, and fears clouded the way forward. But he had one anchor: the Word of God. He didnтАЩt pray for God to remove the darkness, he asked for light to walk through it._
_GodтАЩs Word guides us in three practical ways: One, it illuminates the next step. тАЬA lamp unto my feetтАЭ means light for today, not for ten years ahead. God leads us one obedient step at a time. Two, it directs the journey. тАЬA light unto my pathтАЭ shows the long view. Scripture shapes our values, choices, and direction so we donтАЩt drift. Three, it anchors us in trouble. тАЬI have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgmentsтАЭ (verse 106). When emotions shift and circumstances change, GodтАЩs Word remains sure. ItтАЩs our inheritance and the rejoicing of our heart (verse 111)._
_Are you facing a decision or a dark season? Stop guessing. Open the Scriptures. Meditate on them, obey what you already know, and trust God to light the next step. The same Word that sustained David will sustain you._
