A Proposal to President Donald J. Trump for Global Christian Unity

Dear President Donald J. Trump,

Greetings in the precious and holy name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I pray that the grace, wisdom, and favor of Almighty God continues to guide you as you serve and influence millions of people throughout the United States and around the world. As a Christian leader and founder of Glorious Unity International, I write to respectfully share a burden that has been placed upon my heart regarding the future of the global Church and the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Many believers around the world have appreciated efforts to uphold Christian values, defend religious freedom, and encourage respect for the Bible in public life. In a time when faith is increasingly challenged by secularism, moral confusion, and spiritual indifference, any effort that honors the Word of God deserves recognition and support.

However, I believe that the Lord is calling Christian leaders everywhere to embrace a larger vision—one that extends beyond national borders and denominational identities. That vision is the unity of the Body of Christ.

The Bible teaches that all believers are members of one spiritual family. Although Christians worship in different churches, belong to different denominations, and follow different traditions, we are united by our faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that He is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, rose again from the dead, and offers salvation to all who place their trust in Him.

The prayer of Jesus recorded in John 17 remains one of the most powerful appeals in Scripture. Before His crucifixion, Jesus prayed that His followers would be one, just as He and the Father are one. He declared that such unity would become a testimony to the world and would help people recognize the truth of the Gospel.

Unfortunately, throughout history, divisions have emerged among Christians. Many of these divisions developed because of theological debates, cultural differences, organizational structures, historical events, and regional traditions. While many of these distinctions remain important to various Christian communities, they have often weakened the Church's collective witness before the world.

Today, Christianity consists of thousands of denominations and independent movements. While many believers sincerely love Christ and faithfully serve Him, separation and competition sometimes prevent effective cooperation. This situation can hinder evangelism, reduce Christian influence, and create confusion among those seeking spiritual truth.

The purpose of Christian unity is not to erase legitimate differences or force every church into one organizational structure. Unity does not require uniformity. Rather, biblical unity means mutual respect, cooperation, love, and recognition that all true believers belong to one Body under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Glorious Unity International was established with the conviction that Christians can work together while maintaining their individual identities and traditions. We believe churches can remain faithful to their convictions while building relationships that strengthen the broader Christian community.

Our vision is simple yet profound: to encourage believers from every denomination, ministry, and nation to recognize one another as brothers and sisters in Christ and to work together for the advancement of God's Kingdom.

The world today faces enormous challenges. Poverty, persecution, war, injustice, human trafficking, corruption, family breakdown, addiction, and spiritual darkness affect millions of people. These problems often exceed the capacity of any single church or denomination to address effectively.

Imagine the impact of Christians around the world united in prayer, evangelism, humanitarian service, education, and community development. Imagine churches from different backgrounds cooperating to serve the poor, care for widows and orphans, support persecuted believers, and proclaim the Gospel in unreached regions.

Such cooperation would produce tremendous spiritual and social benefits. It would demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways and provide a powerful witness to a divided world.

Christian unity would also strengthen evangelism. When believers work together, resources can be shared, duplication can be reduced, and greater attention can be given to reaching those who have never heard the Gospel. Cooperation allows ministries to focus on their strengths while supporting one another in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Furthermore, unity can help defend religious freedom. Around the world, many Christians face discrimination, hostility, and persecution because of their faith. A united Christian voice can advocate more effectively for the rights and protection of vulnerable believers.

Unity also strengthens humanitarian efforts. Christian organizations already provide significant assistance through schools, hospitals, disaster relief programs, orphanages, and charitable ministries. Greater cooperation among these organizations could increase efficiency, expand outreach, and maximize impact.

Another important benefit of unity is the promotion of peace and reconciliation. In many regions, Christians themselves have experienced division and conflict. By embracing biblical principles of forgiveness, humility, and mutual respect, churches can become models of reconciliation for society.

Mr. President, throughout history, influential leaders have played important roles in encouraging dialogue, cooperation, and understanding among different groups of people. While spiritual unity ultimately depends upon the work of the Holy Spirit, respected public leaders can help create opportunities for constructive conversation and collaboration.

For this reason, I respectfully encourage you to use your influence to promote discussions concerning Christian unity on a global scale. Such efforts could include encouraging gatherings of Christian leaders, supporting interdenominational dialogue, and highlighting the importance of cooperation among believers.

The goal is not political control, denominational dominance, or institutional merger. The goal is simply to encourage Christians to focus on what unites them rather than what divides them. The foundation of that unity is Jesus Christ Himself.

Many Christian leaders already recognize the importance of greater cooperation. Across the world, pastors, bishops, evangelists, missionaries, scholars, and ministry leaders are building bridges of understanding and partnership. These efforts should be encouraged and expanded.

We believe the present generation has a unique opportunity to advance the cause of Christian unity. Modern communication technology enables believers from different nations to connect more easily than ever before. Conferences, online forums, educational programs, and international partnerships can foster relationships that were once impossible.

The need for unity is particularly urgent because the world is facing increasing spiritual challenges. Many societies are moving away from biblical values. Young people are searching for meaning and purpose. Families are under pressure. Moral confusion is widespread. In such an environment, Christians must stand together to offer hope, truth, and compassion.

A united Church can present a stronger testimony to future generations. Young believers need examples of cooperation rather than conflict. They need to see Christians loving one another despite differences and working together for the common good.

Christian unity can also contribute to global missions. Billions of people remain unreached with the Gospel. Cooperation among churches and ministries can accelerate efforts to bring the message of salvation to every nation, tribe, language, and people group.

In addition, unity can provide encouragement to suffering Christians. In many countries, believers endure hardship because of their faith. Knowing that Christians around the world stand together in solidarity can strengthen and inspire them.

Glorious Unity International seeks to be a catalyst for this movement. Our mission is to encourage dialogue, build relationships, and inspire cooperation among Christian communities worldwide. We are committed to promoting biblical unity while honoring the diversity that exists within the global Church.

We believe that Christian unity should be rooted in prayer. True unity cannot be manufactured through human effort alone. It must be guided by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the teachings of Scripture. Therefore, we encourage believers everywhere to pray for greater love, humility, wisdom, and understanding.

We also believe unity requires servant leadership. Christian leaders must be willing to place the interests of God's Kingdom above personal ambition or organizational competition. By serving one another in humility, believers can demonstrate the character of Christ.

The Apostle Paul repeatedly emphasized the importance of unity among believers. He urged Christians to maintain the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace and reminded them that there is one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all.

These biblical truths remain relevant today. They remind us that our common identity in Christ is greater than our differences. While theological discussions and denominational distinctions will continue, they should never prevent believers from expressing mutual love and cooperation.

Mr. President, I respectfully ask you to consider supporting initiatives that encourage Christian unity and cooperation around the world. Your voice has influence among millions of people, including many Christians who desire to see the Gospel advance more effectively.

By encouraging dialogue, partnership, and mutual respect among Christian communities, you can help inspire a movement that strengthens the Church's witness and contributes to the spread of the Gospel.

I also wish to share a personal conviction. Through prayer and reflection, I believe God has placed this burden upon my heart. I therefore humbly convey this message to you with sincerity and respect. My desire is not to promote any particular denomination or organization but to encourage the unity for which Christ Himself prayed.

The world needs to see Christians demonstrating the love of Christ through unity. The Church needs renewed commitment to cooperation. Future generations need examples of believers working together to fulfill God's purposes.

May this vision inspire leaders, pastors, churches, ministries, and believers everywhere to seek greater unity in Christ. May we learn to appreciate one another, support one another, and labor together for the advancement of God's Kingdom.

As we look toward the future, let us remember that our mission is greater than our differences. We are called to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, care for those in need, defend truth, and glorify God.

May the Lord raise up leaders who will encourage reconciliation, cooperation, and unity among His people. May He strengthen all who serve Him faithfully. And may the Church of Jesus Christ become an even brighter light in a world that desperately needs hope.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this proposal. I pray that God grants you wisdom, strength, protection, and guidance in all your endeavors.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always.

Respectfully submitted,
Pastor Javed Naik
