A Nugget of Truth
THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT
One day, every title will fade. Every possession will be left behind. Every earthly achievement will lose its value in the light of eternity. The only words that will truly matter are these: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
God is not looking for perfection; He is looking for faithfulness. Faithfulness when no one is watching. Faithfulness when the journey is hard. Faithfulness when prayers seem unanswered. Faithfulness when the world chooses compromise and you choose obedience.
Many people desire the crown, but few are willing to carry the cross. Many want the reward, but few remain steadfast through the testing. Yet God sees every sacrifice, every tear, every act of kindness, every prayer whispered in secret, and every battle fought in faith.
Perhaps today you feel unnoticed. Perhaps your service feels small. Perhaps you wonder if your labor for the Lord is making any difference. Take courage. Heaven keeps a record of what earth overlooks. The God who sees in secret will reward openly. Not a single act of faithfulness is forgotten before His throne.
The day is coming when the King of Kings will gather His people. The faithful will sit at His table. The weary will find rest. The broken will be healed. The battles will be over. And those who remained faithful to the end will hear the voice of their Savior say:
"Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord."
Do not give up.
Do not turn back.
Do not lose heart.
Stay faithful in prayer.
Stay faithful in God's Word.
Stay faithful in obedience.
Stay faithful in love.
Your reward is closer than you think.
“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant... enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
— Matthew 25:21
