A relationship with God cannot survive on borrowed faith. Church attendance, family background, or listening to others preach will never replace a personal walk with Christ. Every soul must seek the Lord sincerely for themselves. Jesus taught this through the parable of the ten virgins, where the foolish could not receive oil from the wise when the bridegroom arrived. Preparation had to be personal. “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” — Matthew 25:13 KJV

Many people delay prayer, neglect Scripture, and ignore conviction, believing there will always be more time later. Yet spiritual strength is built daily through obedience, worship, and staying close to God. A lamp without oil cannot shine in darkness. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105 KJV

The days ahead will test hearts, expose compromise, and reveal who truly belongs to Christ. This is why believers must remain awake spiritually and filled with the Holy Ghost. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8 KJV

Now is the moment to return fully to the Lord, guard your heart carefully, and keep your flame burning. Those who stay faithful to Jesus will never be left without direction, even in the darkest hour.
