THURSDAY
GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Trusting God in Times of Confusion”
Job 10:12
“You have granted me life and favor, and Your care has preserved my spirit.”
This is the Word of God. In the midst of intense suffering, Job struggled to understand why he was experiencing such pain. Yet even in his confusion, he acknowledged that God was the One who had given him life and sustained him. Though his circumstances seemed overwhelming, God's care had not ceased.
There are times when we cannot make sense of what God is allowing in our lives. Questions may remain unanswered, and burdens may feel heavy. Like Job, we can honestly bring our struggles before God while remembering His past faithfulness and ongoing care.
May God strengthen our faith to trust Him even when we do not understand His ways, knowing that His loving care never fails. Amen.
