Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 18 June 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar.

In this the love of God was made manifest toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. (1 John 4:9)

God displays His love
When God saw how people turned their backs on Him and lived sinful lives, it pained His heart (Genesis 6:6). But He didn’t let them continue on this wrong path. Out of love, He sent His Son to them, who about 2,000 years ago came to earth as the man Jesus Christ. He was to be the Saviour for lost sinners. That was God’s response to the rebellion and injustice of His creatures!
Through His perfect life, the Lord Jesus could not have bridged the gap between mankind and God. For that, He had to suffer and die on the cross: “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18). He gave His life to pay the necessary price so that guilty people could be reconciled to God.
On the third day after His death, Christ rose from the dead. To this day, God still calls all people to repentance because He doesn’t want them to perish. Anyone who personally believes in the Lord Jesus and His redemptive work on Calvary crosses the bridge to God. He enters into a right relationship with Him and can now rejoice in His love.
However, those who despise God’s saving love and refuse to repent will be forever separated from Him and bear the eternal punishment for their sins.

Today’s reading: Leviticus 8:1-21 – Psalms 55:1-8
