Resist the Devil June 17,2026. although people don’t necessarily enjoy thinking about the Devil , it would be a mistake to not be aware of his attacks and strategies .He is the source of all evil and wages war on God’s Kingdom and God’s people .We have authority over him , but authority that is not used becomes use less .Jesus rebuked and resisted the devil ,and we need to do the same thing . We don’t need to live our lives with our mind on the devil , but we need to be discerning concerning his attacks and he ready resist him .God’s Word teaches us to resist the devil at his onset ( see 1Peter 5:9)and to be firm in faith .Don’t be passive and unaware of your enemy ! some things I advise you to watch for are temptations to sin , any kind of strife or offense , and any unresolved anger or unforgiveness toward others .These are all tactics of the devil designed to bring disunity with God and people .Satan is the instigator of turmoil .He sets us up to be upset !One of the best ways to resist him is to always walk in peace with God , yourself ,and other people -Joyce Meyer
