Good morning LB Family,
It is my sincere hope that as this day begins, we would have two things. First, a clear vision of what the Gospel means for us in or daily lives. To borrow from Jerry Bridges, because of the Gospel it’s “as if we never sinned and always obeyed.” So as we go through this day remember what Christ has done and let that knowledge and relationship be a comfort for the struggles of today. Second, that we would tap into the eternal power and fuel of the resurrection of Christ! We have unstoppable power to fight sin, to conquer the evil in our lives and to live for God in mighty ways IF we tap into Him through the Holy Spirit.
Both of these realities are possible. We can live for God in obedience today. Sin doesn’t have to win or be a problem in our lives any longer. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for He has risen and that truth is the empowerment for our walk with Him today.
