The Protocol of the Ascent (Psalm 24:3-4)
David, a man of war who knew the realities of physical and spiritual combat, asked a non-negotiable question that every intercessor, pastor, and believer must answer today:
"Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully."

The Seduction of Hype: We try to compensate for a lack of holiness by shouting louder, using aggressive warfare vocabularies, and sweating at the altar. But the devil does not bow to your volume; he bows to the seal of God upon a consecrated life!

Today, I bring my hands and my heart to the altar of sacrifice. Wash me thoroughly in the precious blood of Jesus Christ! Cleanse my actions, purify my motives, and break the power of secret sins off my life. Holy Spirit, sanctify my hands so that they can be trusted with Your fire. Train my fingers for battle. Let my life be an uncompromised weapon in Your kingdom. In the mighty, terrifying, and matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen!"
