GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“The Greatness of the Living God”
Jeremiah 10:10
“But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, and the nations will not be able to endure His indignation.”
This is the Word of God. Jeremiah 10 contrasts the living God with powerless idols made by human hands. While idols are empty and unable to save, the Lord is the true God, the Creator, and the eternal King who rules over all things.
People often place their trust in things that cannot truly satisfy; wealth, power, success, or human wisdom. But only God gives lasting hope, security, and purpose. He alone deserves our worship and complete trust.
May we turn away from every false source of hope and worship the living God who reigns forever. Amen.
