```TEXT: PSALM 46:1-11```
```KEY VERSE:``` "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (PSALM 46:1).

Psalm 46 was written for times when the earth shakes. Mountains move, waters roar, nations rage тАФ yet the psalmist declares, тАЬwe will not fear.тАЭ Why? Because God is not distant. He is тАЬa very present help in trouble.тАЭ He is not a last resort; He is a present refuge. At Calvary, that truth was sealed in blood. The veil tore, and access to GodтАЩs presence became our inheritance.

Three truths from our refuge: One, God is our hiding place. тАЬGod is our refuge.тАЭ When life is loud, His presence is a quiet place to run. You donтАЩt have to face the storm alone. Two, God is our strength. тАЬGod is ourтАж strength.тАЭ He doesnтАЩt just shelter you; He fortifies you. The same power that raised Christ from the grave lives in you (Rom. 8:11). Three, God is present in trouble. тАЬA very present help.тАЭ He doesnтАЩt show up late. Even when you canтАЩt feel Him, He is working. тАЬBe still, and know that I am GodтАЭ (verse 10). Stillness is trust in motion.

Is your world shaking this Tuesday? Bills, bad news, battles in your mind? DonтАЩt panic in the noise. Run into your Refuge. Hide in His Word, lean on His strength, and rest in His presence. The Cross made Him near. The waters may roar, but you will not be moved with God within you.

Prayer
Lord my Refuge, I run to You this morning. When trouble rises, be my hiding place. When I am weak, be my strength. When fear speaks loud, let Your voice be louder: тАЬBe still, and know that I am God.тАЭ Hold me steady when the ground shakes. Let Your river of peace flow through my heart and my home. Go before me today and show Yourself strong on my behalf, in JesusтАЩ name. Amen.

May the Lord be your refuge and strength today. May His presence calm every storm, His power break every chain, and His peace rule your heart through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. ЁЯП╝
