Tuesday Morning Family Prayer
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15
Heavenly Father,
On this Tuesday morning, we come before Your throne of grace with thankful hearts. Thank You for waking us up clothed in our right minds and for allowing us to see another day filled with Your mercy, favor, and lovingkindness.
Your Word declares, "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24). Today, we choose joy, faith, and trust in You. We surrender our families into Your loving hands, knowing that You are our Protector, Provider, Healer, and Deliverer.
Father, we pray for every member of our family—those who are near and those who are far away. Cover them with Your divine protection. Let Your angels encamp around them wherever they go.
"For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways" (Psalm 91:11).
Lord, strengthen every husband, wife, mother, father, grandparent, son, daughter, brother, sister, and extended family member. Where there is weakness, release Your strength. Where there is fear, release Your peace. Where there is confusion, release Your wisdom.
Your Word says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we lift up family members who are facing sickness, pain, emotional struggles, anxiety, depression, or discouragement. Stretch forth Your healing hand and touch them from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet.
"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings" (Malachi 4:2).
We stand on Your promise that:
"By whose stripes ye were healed" (1 Peter 2:24).
Lord, heal broken hearts, restore troubled minds, strengthen weary bodies, and renew hope in every discouraged soul.
Father, we pray for family members who have drifted away from You. Draw them back to Your presence. Break every chain of sin, addiction, bondage, pride, and unbelief. Let the power of the Holy Spirit convict, restore, and transform their lives.
Your Word declares:
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house" (Acts 16:31).
We claim salvation for our households. Let sons and daughters return to You. Let prodigals come home. Let entire families experience revival and spiritual awakening.
Lord, bless the work of our hands today. Open doors that no man can shut. Provide jobs for the unemployed, promotions for the diligent, opportunities for the gifted, and financial breakthroughs for those who are struggling.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
Father, we pray against every attack of the enemy. We rebuke every plan, scheme, and weapon formed against our families.
For Your Word says:
"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17).
Protect our homes, our marriages, our children, our grandchildren, our finances, our health, and our future. Let every demonic assignment be canceled by the authority of Jesus Christ.
Lord, help us to walk in love and unity. Remove bitterness, unforgiveness, division, and misunderstanding from our families. Teach us to speak words that heal rather than words that wound.
"Above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness" (Colossians 3:14).
Restore broken relationships. Mend wounded hearts. Bring reconciliation where there has been separation. Let Your love reign in every home represented in this prayer.
Father, empower our children and grandchildren to walk in wisdom, purity, integrity, and godliness. Protect them from harmful influences and guide them into their divine purpose.
"And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children" (Isaiah 54:13).
Today we declare that our families belong to You. We declare peace over every home, healing over every body, provision over every need, protection over every journey, and favor over every assignment.
We stand firmly on Your promise:
"The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore" (Psalm 121:8).
Thank You, Lord, for what You have already done and for what You are about to do. We trust You with every concern, every burden, and every family member.
We give You all the glory, honor, and praise.
In the mighty, matchless, and victorious name of Jesus Christ we pray,
Amen.
