GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY

“God’s Presence Cannot Be Ignored”

Ezekiel 10:4

“Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory.”

This is the Word of God. Ezekiel witnessed a heartbreaking moment where the glory of God was departing from the temple because of Israel’s persistent sin and rebellion. It was a reminder that God’s presence is precious and should never be taken for granted.

This teaches us that outward religion without a surrendered heart cannot please God. We may have the appearance of faith, but God desires genuine obedience and devotion. His presence should be treasured, protected, and honored in our lives.

May the Lord give us hearts that value His presence above everything else and help us walk faithfully in His ways. Amen.

Have a blessed day with the Lord.
