Thankful Thursday Morning Prayer
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” — Psalm 136:1 (KJV)
Heavenly Father,
On this Thankful Thursday morning, I come before Your throne with a heart full of gratitude and praise. Thank You for waking me up this morning, clothing me in my right mind, and blessing me with another opportunity to experience Your goodness, grace, and mercy. Lord, I recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and I pause to acknowledge that You have been better to me than I have deserved.
Father, thank You for Your unfailing love that carried me through yesterday's challenges and sustained me through every trial. Thank You for the doors You opened, the dangers You protected me from, the prayers You answered, and even the prayers You have not answered yet because Your timing is perfect.
"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
Lord, today I choose gratitude over complaining, faith over fear, and praise over worry. I thank You for my family, my church family, my friends, and every person You have placed in my life. Thank You for the roof over my head, food on my table, strength in my body, and peace in my mind.
Father, thank You for every battle You have fought on my behalf. Thank You for being my Provider when resources were low, my Healer when sickness attacked, my Comforter in times of sorrow, and my Deliverer in moments of trouble. Thank You for the countless blessings I can see and the many more that I cannot.
"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits." — Psalm 103:2 (KJV)
Today, Lord, fill my heart with thanksgiving and my mouth with praise. Let my attitude reflect Your goodness. Help me to see Your hand at work in every situation. When challenges arise, remind me that You are still in control. When uncertainty comes, help me remember that Your plans for me are good.
Father, I thank You in advance for the victories that are on the way, the breakthroughs You are preparing, the healing You are releasing, and the blessings You have already scheduled for my future. Strengthen my faith to trust You even when I cannot trace You.
Lord, bless my family today. Cover them with Your protection. Guide their steps, strengthen their hearts, and draw them closer to You. Bless my church, my pastor, my bishop, and every believer who is seeking Your face. Let Your favor surround us as a shield.
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)
Father, let this day be filled with divine appointments, supernatural opportunities, unexpected blessings, and overwhelming peace. May my life be a testimony of Your faithfulness and my praise be a witness of Your goodness.
I thank You because You are God all by Yourself. I thank You because You never fail. I thank You because Your promises are true. I thank You because Your mercy is new every morning.
And Father, before I ask for anything else, I simply say:
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
In the mighty, matchless, and magnificent name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.
Declaration...
Today I declare that I will walk in gratitude, faith, and victory. I am blessed, favored, protected, and sustained by the hand of God. The Lord is ordering my steps, opening doors, and making a way where there seems to be no way. My heart will remain thankful, my spirit will remain joyful, and my faith will remain strong. God's goodness and mercy shall follow me all day long, and I will give Him praise in every circumstance.
