Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

It is an early one today. Almost feels like the days when I had to get up before the sun and go to work. When I have had to get up this early since retirement, I have felt tired; however, today, I feel fairly refreshed.

Today is not too rough, just an early doctor appointment, stop for some groceries, and meet up with a friend who purchased a bundle. Simple morning. When I get home, I will do a quick inventory, clean out the truck, and pack it up for tomorrow.

First…nope, that’s a fib…first weight blessing for the week … I have breached the 190 mark. I am now less than 190. I am very happy. It is nice to have my pants actually be too loose.

I went to my shed yesterday with the full intent of finishing the third story of my anthology. I have the original basis and two revisions; however, the program that I use does not like it as a full story. In the last two stories that I have written for this anthology, I was able to make the necessary corrections so that the program and I were on the same page, that there was a cohesive story, and I was satisfied that I crossed all the Ts and dotted all the I’s properly. Unfortunately, this third story is proving to be a bit more challenging. I may have to set it off to the side and go to the next one while I try to figure out how to better this one. Where I am not OCD (by any means), I am particular about my writing and doing things in order. Switching to the next story while my brain resets will most definitely bring out my inner Sheldon.

Though I am a bit frustrated with this third story, I know that there is a message that God is trying to portray. I am sure it is something fairly small and probably simple to fix, but my stubbornness is preventing me from seeing it right now. By moving on to the next story, I will divert my attention a tad, yet keep my hands on my thoughts ever so lightly on this third story. Something will trigger a process, and I will have the changes that I need. I have an odd brain, and sometimes I just need to take my eyes off the problem in front of me and choose a new problem to fix. There are those dilemmas that sometimes just need a different view for the answer to manifest itself. I believe that is what is going on with this third story.

Do you have a situation that is giving you headaches that you cannot seem to see the answer to? I suggest changing your perspective. Maybe choose a different, less involved problem and solve it first. Perhaps a second one as well. Allow your mind and yourself to reset and see things fresh. In doing so, you are taking away the stronghold that the enemy is trying to establish and moving forward in your work for God. Who knows, maybe problem two planted a seed, problem three watered it, and when you finally circle back to problem one, it will be time to weed for the harvest. God’s plans are not our plans, and the enemy knows that if he can hold you in one spot, you will not see the rest of His plan for you.

Today, take a moment and go to God in prayer. Ask Him to show you which steps that He wants you to take today and plant a few more seeds in the wake of that stubborn problem that is seemingly unfixable … at the moment.

Be blessed.
