THE CROSS OF CALVARY
🏼

FRIDAY 26TH JUNE, 2026

```TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 12:7-10```
```KEY VERSE:``` "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 CORINTHIANS 12:9).

Paul had a thorn. He prayed three times for God to remove it. But instead of taking the pain away, God gave him something better: grace. Not grace to escape the trial, but grace to endure it. Not strength to avoid weakness, but strength that shows up right in the middle of it. At Calvary, Jesus was wounded so that grace could flow to us in our own wounds.

Three truths from the place of thorns: One, grace is personal. “My grace is sufficient for thee.” Not for angels, not for prophets only — for you. For your specific pain, your exact situation, your hidden struggle. Two, grace is enough. “My grace is sufficient.” It doesn’t run out at midnight. It doesn’t fail when the doctor’s report is bad or the money is low. Calvary’s supply meets today’s need. Three, grace turns weakness into a platform. “For when I am weak, then am I strong.” God doesn’t use your strength to show His power. He uses your weakness. The thorn keeps you leaning, and leaning keeps you close.

What thorn are you carrying into this Friday? Something you’ve prayed about, but it’s still there? Don’t waste your weakness by complaining. Bring it to the Cross. Let His grace be your answer. You may not get the miracle you asked for, but you will get the Master Himself. And He is enough.

Prayer
Lord of all grace, I thank You that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I stop asking “why” and start asking “what now.” If this thorn must remain, let Your grace remain even more. Teach me to boast in my weakness so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Be enough for me today — enough peace, enough joy, enough strength for every step, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May the Lord’s sufficient grace carry you today. May His power rest on your weakness, His peace calm your questions, and His strength finish what you cannot, through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. 🏼
