*YOU SHALL NOT FALL INTO THE PIT THE ENEMIES DUG FOR YOU*

"The enemies may dig a pit for your downfall, but the God who protects your destiny will turn their trap into your testimony."

— Pastor Enoch King-Olayinka

Psalm 7:15 (KJV)

"He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made."

Life is full of battles, and one of the greatest mistakes a person can make is to assume that everyone around him is happy about his progress.

Some people are waiting for your failure.

Some people are watching for your mistake.

Some people are hoping that your journey will end in disappointment.

Their plan is for you to break down.

Their desire is for you to become frustrated.

Their expectation is to see you put to shame and become nothing.

But the good news is this:

No plan of the enemy can defeat a person whose life is secured in God.

Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn..."

The enemy may form weapons, but God has the final authority.

The enemy may dig pits, but God has the power to preserve you.

The enemy may set traps, but God can make you walk over them.

A pit is a hidden place prepared for someone's destruction.

The danger of a pit is that it is not always visible.

The enemy does not always announce his plans.

Sometimes the trap comes through betrayal.

Sometimes it comes through false accusations.

Sometimes it comes through temptation.

Sometimes it comes through wrong decisions.

That is why you need divine wisdom and divine protection.

Proverbs 26:27 (KJV)

"Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him."

God has a way of making evil return to its sender.

The same trap prepared for you can become the testimony that announces you.

Joseph's brothers hated him because of his dreams.

They wanted to kill his vision before it could become reality.

Genesis 37:20 (KJV)

"Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit..."

They threw Joseph into a pit, thinking they had ended his future.

But they did not know that the pit was not Joseph's destination; it was only a pathway to his promotion.

They saw a pit.

God saw a palace.

They saw rejection.

God saw preparation.

They saw the end.

God saw the beginning of a greater chapter.

Joseph moved from the pit to the prison, and from the prison to the palace.

Genesis 50:20 (KJV)

"But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good..."

The enemy may plan evil, but God can rewrite the story.

What people use to destroy you, God can use to announce you.

Daniel's enemies searched for a way to bring him down.

They could not find corruption in his character, so they attacked his faith.

Daniel 6:4-5 (KJV)

"Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault... Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God."

They created a law to trap Daniel.

They pushed him into a situation where obedience to God would appear dangerous.

Daniel was thrown into the lions' den.

But the pit they prepared became the place where God displayed His power.

Daniel 6:22 (KJV)

"My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me..."

The enemies expected Daniel to become food for lions.

But God made Daniel a testimony before kings.

When God is defending you, even hungry lions will receive divine instructions.

Haman planned the destruction of Mordecai and the Jewish people.

He built a gallows to destroy Mordecai.

But God turned the situation around.

Esther 7:10 (KJV)

"So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai."

The enemy may prepare a place for your shame, but God can turn it into a place of their exposure.

Do not be afraid when people plot against you.

God knows how to defend His own.

While God protects His children, we must also walk in wisdom.

Many people fall into pits because of pride, anger, greed, or impatience.

The enemy does not only attack from outside; sometimes he tries to create weakness from within.

Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)

"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."

Guard your heart.

Guard your words.

Guard your relationships.

Guard your decisions.

A careless person can walk into a pit that wisdom would have helped him avoid.

Samson was a mighty man, but he fell because he ignored warnings and played with danger.

His strength was great, but his lack of discipline created an opening for the enemy.

Your gift can open doors, but your character keeps you there.

Psalm 121:7-8 (KJV)

"The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."

You may not know every plan being made against you, but God knows.

You may not see every trap hidden before you, but God sees.

You may not hear every conversation about you, but heaven hears.

The God who protected Joseph, Daniel, and Mordecai is still alive.

He is the same God who turns battles into blessings and attacks into testimonies.

The enemies may dig pits, but they shall not bury your destiny.

The enemies may set traps, but you shall escape by the power of God.

The enemies may expect your downfall, but God shall announce your rising.

You shall not end where the enemy planned.

You shall arrive where God ordained.

*PRAYER*

1. Father, deliver me from every hidden trap and evil plan prepared against my life in Jesus' name.
2. Lord, give me wisdom to recognize and avoid every pit the enemy has prepared for me.
3. Father, turn every plan of the enemy against me into a testimony in Jesus' name.
4. Lord, preserve my destiny and let no power terminate what You have started in my life.

*I PROPHESY*

Every pit dug against you shall become a platform for your lifting.

Every trap prepared for your shame shall become a testimony of God's power.

You shall not fall into the plans of wicked people in Jesus name.
