The unfinished work

We live in a society that demands immediate results and finished products. When we transfer this mentality to our spiritual lives, we risk becoming frustrated with ourselves. We look at our flaws, at the sin that still tries to ensnare us, and at our imperfect temperament, and often think about giving up. But we need to understand and trust in **the Master's process**. God's promise is that He who began the good work in us will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. You are a construction site in the hands of the greatest and most careful Builder. The potter doesn't throw the clay away when he finds a flaw; He patiently molds it, kneads it, and remakes it until the vessel takes the desired shape and is ready to fulfill its purpose. Sanctification is not an instantaneous event that happens the day we accept Jesus. It is a long journey, made of daily learning, repentance, healing, and transformation. Don't be so hard on yourself that you can't see grace at work. Allow yourself to be molded. Submit to God's touch and know that *every tear and every correction* is part of a masterpiece He is painting on the canvas of your story.
