Commit Your Plans to the Lord

Today's Scripture: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." Proverbs 16:3

Life is full of decisions, dreams, and responsibilities. We often spend so much time planning our future that we forget to seek the One who already knows the end from the beginning. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us that true success does not come from our own wisdom or strength—it comes from surrendering our plans to God.

To commit something to the Lord means more than simply asking Him to bless our plans. It means placing every dream, goal, and decision into His hands and trusting Him to lead us according to His perfect will. When we submit our lives to God, He directs our steps, gives us wisdom, and establishes what is truly best for us.

Sometimes God's answer is "yes," sometimes it is "wait," and sometimes it is "I have something better." Even when we do not understand His timing, we can trust that His plans are always good, faithful, and filled with purpose. Our responsibility is to obey Him faithfully and leave the results in His hands.

Today, whatever challenge, opportunity, or decision you are facing, bring it before the Lord in prayer. Trust Him completely, walk in obedience, and believe that He is working behind the scenes for your good and for His glory. When God is the foundation of our plans, our lives become a testimony of His faithfulness.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I commit every part of my life into Your hands. Guide my thoughts, my decisions, and my future according to Your perfect will. Help me to trust You even when I cannot see the way ahead. Establish the plans that honor You, and give me the courage to follow wherever You lead. May my life bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
