WHAT IF THE GREATEST THING YOU'VE EVER LOST... IS THE ONE THING YOU NEVER REALIZED WAS MISSING?
A man spends twenty years building a successful business. He can buy almost anything he wants. Yet every night, he needs sleeping pills because his heart knows no peace.
A young woman spends hours perfecting photos for social media. Thousands admire her life, but when she puts her phone down, she wonders, "Does anyone really know me? Does anyone truly love me?"
A university student earns excellent grades, graduates with honors, and lands a great job. Yet a quiet question follows him everywhere: "Is this what life is all about?"
Perhaps you know someone like that.
Perhaps... it's you.
The world tells us that happiness is found in more money, more achievements, more possessions, or more applause.
But if those things could satisfy the human heart, why do so many people who have them still feel empty?
The truth is simple:
The deepest need of the human heart is not success, it is reconciliation with God.
The emptiness we often try to fill with relationships, entertainment, addictions, work, or ambition is actually a space that only God can fill.
Many people don't reject God because they have found something better.
They reject Him because they have never truly met Him.
God is not waiting to condemn you.
He is waiting to welcome you.
That is why Jesus Christ came into the world. He didn't come only for religious people. He came for the broken father who wishes he could undo his mistakes.
He came for the woman carrying over years of shame that no one knows about.
He came for the teenager secretly battling addiction. He came for the elderly man who wonders if his life really mattered. He came for the successful executive who has everything except peace. He came for you.
Jesus did not ignore our sin.
He carried it. He did not pretend death didn't exist. He defeated it. He did not simply teach people how to live.
He gave His own life so we could truly live. And His power is still changing lives today. A former prisoner becomes a mentor to young people because Christ gave him a new beginning. A husband who was known for anger learns to love his family with patience after surrendering his life to Jesus. A woman who believed she was beyond forgiveness discovers that God's grace is greater than her worst mistake.
A young man consumed by greed discovers that serving God brings a joy that money never could. These stories are repeated every day across the world because Jesus still transforms lives.
Maybe you've been telling yourself:
"I'll come to God after I fix my life."
But that's like refusing to see a doctor until you've cured yourself. You don't clean yourself before coming to Christ.
You come to Christ, and He begins the work of making you new.
No sin is stronger than His grace.
No past is greater than His mercy.
No failure is beyond His forgiveness.
Today, don't postpone the decision that could change your eternity. If your heart is ready, pray sincerely:
Lord Jesus,
I know I have sinned and cannot save myself.
I believe You died for my sins and rose again.
Today I turn away from my old life and place my trust in You.
Forgive me.
Make me a new person.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit.
Teach me to know You, love You, and follow You all the days of my life.
Thank You for receiving me as Your child.
