MONDAY
GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Faithfulness Over Fear”
Matthew 10:28
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
This is the Word of God. In Matthew 10, Jesus prepared His disciples for the challenges of following Him. He reminded them that while people may oppose or persecute them, their greatest reverence should be for God, not for human opinion or threats.
Fear can keep us from living boldly for Christ, but faith gives us the courage to obey Him regardless of the cost. When we trust God's sovereign care, we can stand firm, knowing our lives are secure in His hands.
May the Lord fill us with courage to remain faithful, fear Him above all else, and boldly live for His glory. Amen.
