Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 29 juin 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar.

In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

In the world
As believers, we don’t belong to the world that seeks success and joy without God. However, we still live in the world and are exposed to both its allure and opposition. That’s when the Lord calls to us: “Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Through His death on the cross, He conquered the world. Now He stands by us, enabling us to remain steadfast in the face of the world.
When the world tempts us, looking at the cross of the Lord Jesus helps. At the time of the Lord Jesus, the world revealed its true face. The entire human society had united against Christ. Politics (Pilate), culture (Herod) and religion (the Jewish leadership) joined forces to crucify the Lord of glory.
In the light of the cross, where our Saviour suffered, the enticing offers of the world lose their appeal to us. It becomes easier to reject them out of love for Christ. When the world opposes us, we remember that our Lord endured the contradiction of sinners every day. Yet, the world’s hostility could not deter Him from remaining obedient and faithful to His God unto death on the cross. He calmly endured the mockery of unbelieving people.
His example encourages us to obey our God, remain faithful to Him, and endure the contempt from unbelievers despite the world’s opposition.

Today’s reading: Leviticus 14:14-32 – Psalms 61:1-8
