MAKE FRUITFUL WHAT GOD HAS ENTRUSTED TO YOU
Matthew 25:22, 29
"The one who had received the two talents also came forward, saying, 'Master, you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more. [...] For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance.'"
Jesus tells the parable of the talents to teach that his disciples are stewards.
The servant who had only two talents receives the same praise as the one who had five, because he was faithful. God does not measure our faithfulness by the size of our resources, but by what we do with them.
The principle of the Kingdom is clear: what you develop, God increases; what you neglect, you eventually lose. Gifts, opportunities, knowledge, and responsibilities grow when they are used in the service of the Lord.
Don't compare what God has given you to what He has entrusted to others. While awaiting the Master's return, each of us is called to make fruitful what God has entrusted to us, regardless of the amount received.
Lord, make me faithful in small things and teach me to make fruitful all that you have entrusted to me for your glory. Amen.
