It amazes me how often our faith in the one true living God is mocked and challenged. Yet when you think about it, it makes sense—Jesus calls us to live completely opposite to the world. Our natural reaction is to love those who love us, be kind to those who are kind to us, and repay people the way they treat us. But that's not the way of Jesus. He tells us to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us. When someone does evil to you, respond with good. That's what sets us apart. That's how the world sees Jesus through us. Never forget—you are Christ's representative. You are His ambassador. Shine for Him today. Father, thank You that while I was still a sinner, You loved me, showed me mercy, and gave Your life for me.
