1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NLT
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." [10] But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God's deep secrets.
We cannot imagine all that God has in store for us, both in this life and for eternity. He will create a new heaven and a new earth (Isaiah 65:17; Revelation 21:1), and we will live with him forever. Until then, his Holy Spirit comforts, guides, and enlightens us. Knowing the wonderful and eternal future that awaits us gives us hope and courage to press on in this life, to endure hardship, and to avoid giving in to temptation. Life does not end at death, because this world is not all there is. Unimaginable heavenly experiences await.
Reflection Points:
Unseen blessings — What good things might God already be preparing for you that you can’t see yet? Let your heart rest in the idea that His work is happening even when you feel nothing moving.
Letting go of limits — Where have you been assuming God can only work in small ways? Ask Him to stretch your imagination to match His ability, not your comfort zone.
Walking with expectancy — What would it look like to walk through today expecting God to surprise you with grace, peace, or direction?
Trusting the unseen path — Are there areas where you’re waiting, worrying, or unsure? Remind yourself: God’s preparation is often invisible until the moment you need it.
Loving God deeply — This promise is for “those who love Him.” What is one simple act of love you can offer Jesus today — gratitude, obedience, kindness, or worship?
