While we labour in discipleship, I think it is important for us to understand that discipleship is not merely learning how to hear God; it is also learning how to remain faithful when He seems quiet.

We often seek fresh words while neglecting the last instruction.

But spiritual maturity is not proven by how much revelation you receive; it is revealed by what you do with the revelation you already carry.

At times, silence becomes God’s tool for formation. His silence may also mean that you are to obey the last instruction He gave.
