Good morning, everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

Looks like another slightly warm day today. Temperatures in the 90s; everyone, be safe and stay hydrated. We are starting our day in the junk yard looking for doors for the little blue bullet that got hit in the storm. I am pretty sure that after we spend an hour or so walking and pulling the doors, we will spend quite a few hours in the house recuperating. I do have a yard that I need to get to today, but I think I will wait until later in hopes that it will be on the downside heat-wise. The good news is that it is in the country, so the potential for a breeze is favorable.

The last two nights we have abandoned series binges on television and watched some good wholesome movies made by the Kendrick brothers. First we watched Courageous, and then last night we watched Facing the Giants. Two excellent movies. I have seen ads that they have remade or did a sequel to their first movie, Fly Wheel; I need to see if I can find it. I am very curious.

One thing that I have noticed with the rising temperatures outside is that my temper temperature has risen as well. For some reason, my fuse has melted to almost nothing. Two days in a row now, I have snapped for some really silly stuff, and there was no cause for it. Now that I am very much aware of the problem, I can, hopefully, hone in on potential ‘triggers’ and reroute my brain to the cooler side of reactions.

The last couple of nights I have found that I have slept very well. For whatever the thought process was in my brain for starting this, is irrelevant because it works, and I think that I am going to continue. Of an evening, you know that I say my prayers, but the last two nights I have had my torso slightly elevated, pillows tucked to each side and covered up heavily (ac is on and my menopause is on Frigidaire). I have had no problems falling asleep, and I wake up refreshed and raring to go.

Looking at my calendar, I am trying to decide if I want to add dates to July events or run with what I have. I am an eager beaver to get out and plant seeds, but I am also a realist in that it is a hot month. Ok, I am a wimp knowing that it is a hot month…haha.

I have given you a lot of random stuff today. But the one thing that is steady is that the enemy will use whatever resource he can to dig his nips into our peace. For me, he is using the heat to melt my temper fuse, and he is giving me lots of opportunities to choose from to sell my books. He knows if I overextend myself, I will not be effective and potentially cause more damage to the seeds. In these cases, I have to look at my stock, my schedule, and I need to most definitely pray for where God wants me to be.

This weekend is a prime example. We have an appointment on the 3rd up north at midday, then I am supposed to be back to my venue to set up and sell by 4. It is going to be tight. It is going to be hot. It is going to be a bit stressful. BUT … it is also exactly what God is asking me to do. I have not done this venue before, so it will be a good experience for everyone. This is a two-day event and my plan was to be at the Amphitheater on Sunday…that one may be postponed depending on how tired I get from the two-day event and if I have anything left to sell.

I believe that God will give me the direction that He wants me to travel when He wants to give it to me. I have no need to worry about specifics until He wants me to think about them. That is how I have to look at it or the enemy will find another place to grab hold.

What are you worried about today that you really need to let go and let God? It is hard, I know. However, when you do, the peace that overcomes you is so soothing and comforting that you never want to let it go. Go to Him today and ask for His guidance. Do not let the enemy grab even a thread of your shirttail.

Be blessed.

**Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. From the house of the Lord we bless you. The Lord is God, and he has made his light shine upon us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar. –Psalm 118:26-27
