Christ crucifixion part (1)
On Trial

Mark 15:16-20 (KJV) And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,
And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.
And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.

While Christ was on trial Satan was trying every trick in the book to get what he wanted
Which was to get Christ to give in and give up.but what Satan did not know was Christ had already gotten strength from angles earlier in Gethsemane which would help Him face the up coming events. He was scrouged beyond recogintion mocked spat upon a crown of thrones shoved on His head and in all this pain he endured he still remained humble and did not call on the angles to come rescue Him.

Jesus submits to terrible abuse

Satan led the cruel mob in its abuse of the Savior. It was hus purpose to provoke Him into retaliation if possible, or drive Him to per from a miracle to release h mm Himself, and thus brake up the plan of salvation. One stain upon on His human life, one failure of His humanity to endure the terrible test, and the Lamb of God would have been an imperfect offering, and the redemption of man a failure.
