*TESTAMENT OF GRACE GLOBAL ASSEMBLY (GRACE REVIVAL CENTRE)*
*LIFELINES DEVOTIONAL FOR FRIDAY, JULY 4,2026*
*TOPIC: ENLARGEMENT THROUGH GOD'S PRESENCE*
*BIBLE VERSE*
And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."Then he said to Him, "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.""For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth. So the LORD said to Moses, "I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name."-Exodus 33:14–17 (NKJV)
*MEDITATION*
The greatest blessing a believer can possess is the presence of God. In Exodus 33:14–17, Moses understood that Israel's success would never depend on numbers, weapons, or strategy, but on the abiding presence of the Lord. When God assured him, "My Presence will go with you," Moses knew that divine presence was the guarantee of victory, favour, protection, and enlargement. God's presence transforms ordinary people into extraordinary vessels and opens doors that human effort alone cannot open.
Throughout Scripture, God's presence has always been the distinguishing mark of His people. Joseph prospered in Egypt because "the LORD was with Joseph" (Genesis 39:2–3), turning a slave into a ruler. Joshua succeeded Moses because God promised, "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you" (Joshua 1:5). David defeated Goliath, not because of superior strength, but because he came in the name of the Lord (1 Samuel 17:45–47). These examples remind us that God's presence enlarges influence, brings promotion, and enables believers to accomplish what would otherwise be impossible.
The presence of God also enlarges the inner life of the believer. It produces peace in the midst of storms, wisdom in times of confusion, and strength during seasons of weakness. David declared, "In Your presence is fullness of joy" (Psalm 16:11). Isaiah received a fresh vision and a renewed commission when he encountered God's presence in the temple (Isaiah 6:1–8). Likewise, the early Church was empowered by the Holy Spirit and experienced remarkable growth, boldness, and miracles after the presence of God filled them (Acts 2:1–4; Acts 4:31–33). Spiritual enlargement always begins with a deeper encounter with God.
Believers today can cultivate God's presence by living lives of prayer, worship, obedience, and meditation on His Word. Jesus taught that those who love Him and keep His commandments will enjoy the abiding presence of the Father and the Son (John 14:23). As we continually seek God, surrender to the Holy Spirit, and separate ourselves from sin, His presence becomes a daily reality rather than an occasional experience. James 4:8 assures us, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."
God's presence also brings divine direction and protection. When Israel followed the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, they were guided safely through the wilderness (Exodus 13:21–22). The psalmist testified, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies" (Psalm 23:5). No matter the opposition believers face today, the presence of God goes before them, fights their battles, grants favour, and enlarges their opportunities. Where God is present, fear gives way to faith, limitations give way to breakthroughs, and impossibilities become testimonies.
As you journey through life, make God's presence your highest pursuit. Never allow success, possessions, or recognition to replace intimacy with Him. Like Moses, resolve that you will not move without God's presence leading you. When His presence accompanies you, your home, ministry, career, business, and every area of your life will experience divine enlargement according to His perfect will. The God who walked with Moses, Joseph, David, and the apostles still walks with His children today and delights to enlarge those who remain close to Him.
*PRAYER*
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your abiding presence. Help me to seek You above all else and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Let Your presence go before me, guide my steps, open doors of favour, strengthen my faith, and enlarge every area of my life for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
