Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 4 juillet 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. (Ephesians 2:4-5)

Mercy and love
Before our conversion, we were in a spiritually dead state. We were under Satan’s dominion and enslaved by sin. We couldn’t free ourselves from these conditions. No human being was able to help us either.
Only God could save us. And He did. Why? Because we were so lovable? No! Because we desperately sought His help? No! Then why? Because His heart is full of mercy! He saw our hopeless condition and had compassion on us. Therefore, He reached out His hand and pulled us out of misery.
God’s mercy springs from His love. He loved us even though we gave Him no reason to. There was nothing in us worthy of His love. God loved us because He Himself
is love. That’s why He made us alive with Christ. He has given us new, eternal life.
Let’s also consider the wording in today’s verse! God is “rich” in mercy. There is never any scarcity with Him. He is always abundantly rich – even in His mercy towards lost sinners.
Then it speaks of His “great” love. Thereby we are reminded of the fact that God’s love in saving men has been revealed in many various aspects. How uplifting!

Today’s reading: Leviticus 17:1-16 – Psalms 66:1-7
