The Bible speaks about the signs that the end times will grow nearer to us: many of the signs that signify the “second coming” of our Lord Jesus Christ have manifested themselves since Israel was recognised as a state in 1948.
Since that time, we have witnessed many wars and conflicts all over the world. Significant is the conflict in the Middle East at this very moment.
Moreover, is the conflict brewing everyday, everywhere across the globe itself. Families have become disjointed due largely to the fact that God has been removed from public schools.
When I was a child, we still prayed in classes as well as in mass gatherings first thing in the morning in the school auditorium.
We also pledged allegiance to the American flag each and every day.
One day a group of aetheists petitioned the Supreme Court of the United States, and won their argument, and since then, it has become mandatory that prayer was banned in public schools.
What replaced prayer in the schools?
I will tell you in one word…HATRED! This all came about in the mid sixties during a period that begun to break the chains of segregation. I was fortunate enough that my parents taught me to be tolerant to all races. Neither of my parents attended church while my two brothers and I were growing up. But they saw to it that all three of us frew up in church, and learned lessons that included memorizing the 10 Comandments, and Jesus’s teachings on love. To this day, I treat everyone I come in contact with, with love and respect.
Nowadays, there’s no respect taught in the schools, nor apparently love. Bullying was rampant when I was in school, but the teachers didn’t tolerate it. Now even the teachers are being bullied. And somewhere along the line, children began to bring weapons to school (in my day we carried a pocket knife but they weren’t really used to hurt others with, it was more a young teenagers “right of passage”. Now firearms are coming into schools, brought in mostly by kids that have been bullied, but no matter who brings the weapon, it usually winds up killing others, and in these cases many innocent children have lost their lives.
So now, the very liberals that purchased these weapons are calling on “gun control “, I’m here to tell you, guns by themselves don’t kill people; people do!
Thi is just an example of just one faction of the end times! Worse things are yet to come. We have not even got to the actual END TIMES. This is just a sampling of things to come. We have yet to enter into the “tribulation period”.
Part of what is going on today is the fault of the parents, but, the churches share the responsibility as well.
Too many churches have watered down the Gospels. The preach “feel good” messages, instead of preaching the Truth that is found in th Scriptures. When was the last time you sat in the church congregation and heard a sermon on hell and the eternity of the wicked!
