Thousands gathered on a Florida beach as The Church of Eleven22 held one of the largest baptism celebrations in its history. Church leaders said 2,552 people were baptized in the Atlantic Ocean, publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ, while more than 14,000 people came together for worship, prayer, and celebration.

The church described baptism as an outward expression of an inward transformation through Christ. One of the day’s most memorable moments came when the final person baptized was reportedly one of the event’s shuttle bus drivers, a story church leaders said only God could have written.
