Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

This morning started a bit rough, and for transparency's sake, I will share with you. I almost hurt my knee while trying to fart. That right there told me that I needed this day of rest. When two activities have absolutely NOTHING to do with the other, and results are potentially catastrophic … that is God telling me that I need this day of rest. Today I was going to go set up in Lafayette at the Amphitheater; however, He did bless me with good sales yesterday, and to prove His point, I almost hurt my knee farting. If that is not God telling me not to go … I am not sure what is.

Good morning, hope you were not in mid coffee slurp when you read my opening line. If you were, you should know better. Especially if you have been reading my posts for very long. Haha.

Friday was a good sales day for the foot traffic we had. Seeds were planted as well; new friends were met. Plus I met a man and his wife, and we got into a very solid bible lesson for each other. It was great. While in that discussion, someone whom I had seen in Pine Village stopped to let me know how they were enjoying my books. That is more important to me than the sales. That people are being touched by the stories that He gives me.

Friday night we had some storms roll through, and though I brought most of my stuff home, I did leave the canopy and the tables with their covers there. So my concern was what I would find when I arrived yesterday. Pleased to report, all was there, and nothing was damaged. Only one table cover was partially blown off. The day was absolutely gorgeous. Temperatures did not go very high; lots of jokes and seeds and watering. Sales were steady to the point that I had to have my husband bring me my reserve stash from the house on one of my books. I will also have to make an order and pray that they are here before Saturday. New storms began to roll in, and I packed it all up before the first drop fell. God was definitely at the venue yesterday.

Today, after His house and a quick trip to pick up a barrel of medicine for my husband … not a full barrel, maybe a half barrel haha…then back home for some relaxation, inventory management, and ordering. SQUIRREL moment, another blessing from yesterday … I was out of clean fat shorts, so I tried on a pair for not-so-fat me; THEY FIT COMFORTABLY. An added bonus for yesterday: I was not pulling up my pants all day. Haha.

This morning, I hope I have made you smile. Made your day of rest more relaxing. Mornings can be hectic, but I hope that my silliness has helped you see that there is Light everywhere. Just to drive this point home, one more little story … As I was packing up my site, when I went to bring down the canopy, there was a puddle of water that did not dry up in the heat of the day; my entire left side was soaked. Another indicator from Him that I was not going to town to sell but to His house to rest.

Be blessed today.
