The Lord is Great!
I've been reading more of the Bible. It is no longer a chore. It used to be something I HAD to do. And I always rebelled against HAVING to do things.
But, ever since I found this church and started bible study with the men's group I found a new perspective. Now when I read the Bible I LEARN something and I get engrossed. Right now we're studying The Tabernacle of Moses and I started reading Exodus from the beginning. Just WOW! I just finished with all the plagues the Lord laid down on Egypt. And last night we learned more about the Tabernacle. Just focused on the outer court. I am going to spend this week reading more of Exodus and digging more into the outer court.
God truly does open the way for greater understanding of Him and Christ. That's one of the biggest lessons I have learned thus far from this study. Is that God WANTS to be with His people. He wants us to get to know Him AND His Son Christ.
I love this church because when someone steps forward and accepts Christ, they are not left to figure things out for themselves like in a lot of churches. Here they open the way through several class they offer. Even to those who do not yet know Christ but are curious.
They encourage growth in Christ through several programs.
