Psalms 19:7-11 (KJV) The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

The law of the Lord is perfect
Without the law men have no conception of the purity and holy ness of God or of their own guilt and uncleaness.they have no true conviction of sin and feel no need of repentance. Not seeing their condition as violators of the God's law they do not realize their need of the atoningbloid of Christ. The hope of salvation is accepted without a radical change of heart or reformation of life. Thus superficial conversions abound, and multitudes are joined to the church who never been united to Christ.
