THE CHANGE FROM WITHIN (3)

"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." (Matthew 12:35)

The heart, which is the spirit of man, is the real man. If the heart is good, the man is good. If the heart is evil, the man is evil.

Every genuine change must first occur in the heart. That is why salvation is essential for everyone who desires a godly transformation.

Among other things, salvation translates a person from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God's dear Son (Colossians 1:13).

We are no longer in the kingdom of darkness where every form of evil prevails. Our spirit has been redeemed and made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 4:24).

Therefore, we must live in the consciousness of our new identity in Christ. We must no longer live as children of darkness but as children of light.

Jesus called us the light of the world. The light of God within us must be reflected in our minds, words, and actions.

The Scriptures also instruct us to work out our own salvation. This relates to the transformation of our soul. How? By renewing our minds and bringing them into conformity with the written Word of God.

As we continually behold Him in the mirror of His Word, we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory.

Declare This:
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I walk in the light of my new identity, and my mind is continually renewed by God's Word. My life reflects His nature, and I am transformed daily from glory to glory, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Additional Scriptures:
Colossians 1:13
2 Corinthians 5:21
Ephesians 4:24
2 Corinthians 3:18
