Have you ever noticed how generous nature can be in the middle of summer?
Wild berry bushes don't produce just enough fruit for themselves.
They produce an abundance.
Birds feast on the berries.
Deer browse among the branches.
Bears find nourishment.
People stop along the trail to enjoy a handful.
Even the berries that fall to the forest floor aren't wasted. They feed countless small creatures and help give rise to new life.
Nature reminds us that some of God's most beautiful gifts were never meant to be held onto.
They were meant to overflow.
Maybe generosity works the same way.
When we hold tightly to everything we have, our hearts can slowly become smaller.
But when we freely share our time... our encouragement... our resources... our compassion... we often discover that a generous life is richer than a guarded one.
Yeshua said:
*"Give, and it will be given back to you, overflowing with generous measure."*
His invitation isn't about making transactions with God.
It's about becoming the kind of people whose lives overflow with the same generosity our Father continually pours into the world.
The more we open our hands, the more room there is for God's love to flow through them.
