TWO MEN DECIDED THEY WERE TIRED OF WAITING FOR GOD TO RESCUE THEM. THEY CLIMBED A VERTICAL CLIFF FACE INTO AN ENEMY GARRISON, AND TRIGGERED A MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE WITH THEIR SWORDS.

The Israelite army was hiding in caves, completely paralyzed by fear. The Philistine army held the high ground at the garrison of Michmash, heavily armed and seemingly untouchable.

But Jonathan, King Saul's son, refused to die hiding in a hole. He looked at his armor-bearer and proposed a suicide mission: "Let's go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few."

The armor-bearer didn't flinch. "I am with you heart and soul."

The two men physically scaled a steep, jagged cliff using their hands and feet, fully exposing themselves to the enemy above. When they crested the top, they didn't negotiate. They unleashed a brutal, close-quarters assault, slaughtering twenty Philistine soldiers in half an acre.

Their extreme, kinetic faith triggered a response from the Throne Room. God sent a supernatural panic into the enemy camp, followed immediately by a literal, violent earthquake. The Philistine army collapsed into chaos and began slaughtering each other. Heaven responds to kinetic energy. God will send the earthquake, but sometimes He waits for you to climb the cliff and draw your sword first.
