In our fast-paced world, I often hear people say "time is money." Have you ever heard that? But I believe there is a more profound reality, and it is that time is far more valuable than any monetary currency. Unlike money, which can be earned, saved, and even recovered if lost, time is a finite resource that, once spent, can never be regained.

I get lots of inspiration from the collection of ancient manuscripts we've come to know as the Bible. The Bible is full of timeless wisdom and offers several insights into the beauty of time and the importance of using it wisely.

The very brother of Jesus wrote a letter to the church; we know it as The letter of James. In it, James reminds us of the fleeting nature of our lives:

"Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes." (James 4:14)

Here James seeks to show us the fragility of our existence. Like morning mist that dissipates as the sun rises, our time on Earth is short. This realisation should motivate us to make the most of every moment we have.

It's Monday, let's go.
