GOD ACHIEVES WHAT HE BEGINS
Philippians 1:6
"I am confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion at the day of Christ Jesus."
The apostle Paul writes to the believers in Philippi to encourage them. He reminds them that their salvation and spiritual growth are the work of God, who remains faithful to what he sets out to do.
God never begins a work only to abandon it along the way. Even when things seem slow or circumstances discourage you, the Lord continues his work in you.
Trials are not a sign that he has forgotten you, but often the tools he uses to mold you into the image of Christ.
Don't measure your life solely by what you see today. Trust the Lord and persevere in obedience. The one who called you is also the one who will bring you to the end of his purpose.
Lord, thank you for never abandoning the work of your hands. Grant me the grace to persevere in faith until the perfect fulfillment of your plan in my life. Amen.
