Morning friends. How many sunrises have you driven past this year without once saying thank You? When’s the last time you let yourself feel happy on purpose? How many of us have spent our lives searching for joy and asking God, “What do You want me to do?” That’s a good prayer, but Psalm 37:4 doesn’t say work for joy. It says delight in the Lord. Two different postures. Two different lives. You didn’t miss joy. You walked right through it. The sunrise on your way to work. Your wife’s laugh after thirty years. Your grandson’s voice on the phone. You called it a Tuesday. Heaven called it a gift. God isn’t hiding joy from you, making you hunt for it like a lost wallet. He’s scattering it in front of you every single day, waiting for you to notice. So here’s my invitation to you…Stop sprinting past the sacred. Today, add a line to your prayer, “Lord, what do You want me to delight in today?” You don’t find joy. You catch it. Catch the joy you keep walking past. Notice it. Name it. Thank Him for it. Your ordinary Tuesday is somebody’s answered prayer. Heaven is not stingy with joy. It’s been generous with you your whole life. Today, just receive it. So tonight, go home and watch your wife laugh that laugh you’ve heard ten thousand times like it’s the first time. Go home and watch your grandson run like it’s a miracle. Because it is.
