STOP BEGGING GOD FOR WHAT HE HAS ALREADY DONE.
Let me ask you something: Are you standing or are you seated?
That's not a trick question. It's the whole point of Hebrews 10.
The Old Testament priests never sat down. Ever. Because the work was never finished. But when Jesus did what He did, He sat down at the right hand of God.
One sacrifice. One offering. Done.
Your sins aren't covered. They're gone. You've already been sanctified (set apart), once for all. And that voice beating you up every time you fail? That's not the Holy Spirit. He's the one who remembers your sins no more.
So why are so many of us still pacing, begging for forgiveness for the same sins over and over? We shouldn’t be asking God to do what He already did!
sit down with Jesus and celebrate that “it is finished.”
