A Nugget of Truth.
The news we see today is heartbreaking. More and more young people are becoming involved in violence, crime, bullying, drugs, and other destructive behaviors. It is painful to witness children and teenagers, who should be building their future, being led down paths that bring harm to themselves and others.

This is a wake-up call for every parent.

Do not only teach your children how to succeed in life—teach them how to love God, obey His Word, and walk in the fear of the Lord. Academic achievement, talents, and worldly success are valuable, but a godly character is far more important. A child who knows God has a foundation that can withstand the pressures and temptations of this world.

Today’s generation is surrounded by negative influences. Social media, peer pressure, and a culture that often rejects biblical values can easily pull young hearts away from the truth. That is why parents must be intentional in guiding their children spiritually. Pray with them. Read the Bible with them. Bring them to church. Most importantly, let them see Christ through your own example.

We cannot be with our children every moment of every day, but God can. When a child grows up with reverence for God, they carry His guidance with them wherever they go. The fear of the Lord is not about being terrified of God—it is about honoring Him, respecting His authority, and choosing to live according to His will.

Parents, the greatest inheritance you can leave your children is not wealth, possessions, or status. It is a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart that desires to follow Him. Let us raise a generation that loves God, respects others, stands for what is right, and shines as a light in a dark world.

Pray for your children today. Teach them God's ways while they are young. The seeds you plant now can shape their eternity.

“But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15
