Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
Today I want to share with you the power of finding the Light in ALL circumstances. When I try to give examples of chaos in my life, I really have to think about it, because I am so focused on His presence that the chaos and the stupid don’t even bother me. Today I am going to share yesterday and how I am so at peace right now.
Yesterday I had my book signing in Wabash. At first, the enemy started plugging my mind with thoughts of failure because I saw no signage that I would be there. Then I was placed in the back of the store. But … once I completed my internal temper tantrum, I gave the signing to God and told him that if he wanted me to sit there for three hours and have no engagement, I would do just that. I was there for one reason, and my reason was obedience. Not 20 minutes later, I engaged with a woman about the bible study books I was in placed near, and by the end of the conversation I sold a bundle, made a new author friend (who does not like to read either), and a potential book cover artist business connection. But more than that, I believe I have made a new friend. After that, I had several more encounters that totally filled my heart with His presence. Not only did the customers bless me, but the store owner also told me of an event that I should check into that will put me in contact with retailers.
On my way home, my husband began to feel very poorly. Hospital trip poorly. When we got to the hospital, the staff pushed him right through to the back and started investigating what was going on. Because he has so many medical issues, they did a plethora of tests and scans and ultimately determined that he needed to stay for a few days. Because of his issues, there are certain tests he cannot do and others require extra permission and the safest place for him to be is there. I am so glad that I made him go with me yesterday or I would have been 2 hours away; this way I was right there with him the whole time.
The support and the prayers I received as I was asking for help on the homefront and vehicles … astounding. This morning, I even tried to give my mom her car back and she told me no. I don’t argue with my mom; she wields a mean wooden spoon. I told her that I was trying to be a grown-up, and she told me to listen to my mother. Haha.
My positives for today … far too many to list. I could easily fall into the dark trap that the enemy wants me in, but I serve a Mighty God who has shown me and my family so much Love that I truly find it hard to see any darkness. I do get frustrated at circumstances; however, He always provides a Light for me to focus on. Thank you, Jesus.
Seeing the Light is a choice. Walking in the Light is peace. Being covered in the Light is pure joy. Choose to have peace and joy.
Be blessed.
