THE PRICE OF SALVATION
Nothing in this life is free.
Salvation, though a free gift from God, was not without cost.
There was a price to be paid, and Jesus Christ paid it in full.
Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary for our salvation. His blood was shed on the cross to pay for our sins.
Hence, whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Know the value:
When the value of something is not known, abuse is inevitable.
The reason why some so-called Christians compromise is because they don’t know the value of salvation and what Jesus Christ suffered to redeem us.
If you call yourself a Christian and you are still living in sin, it is because you don't know what it means to be a follower of Christ. Galatians 2:17 says, “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.”
That Christ died for us and paid the price for our sins is not a license to sin.
If you die as a sinner while you claimed to be a Christian, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”
The Call to Repent:
Dear reader, do you know that only those who are genuinely born again will be saved in the end?
If you are living in sin, repent immediately and surrender to Jesus Christ before it is too late.
Prayer of Repentance:
Pray this prayer aloud and believe in your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again for my justification. Forgive me of all my sins. I turn away from my sinful life and surrender my life to You today. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”_

1. Find a Bible-believing Church close to your residence to attend — Hebrews 10:25
2. Live a holy life — Hebrews 12:14
3. Study the Word of God daily — 2 Timothy 2:15; John 5:39
