Job 37:11-13 NKJV
Job 37:11-13 Also with moisture He saturates the thick clouds; He scatters His bright clouds.
And they swirl about, being turned by His guidance, That they may do whatever He commands them On the face of the whole earth.
He causes it to come, Whether for correction, Or for His land, Or for mercy.
Job 36:26-33 "Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him; Nor can the number of His years be discovered.
For He draws up drops of water, Which distill as rain from the mist,
Which the clouds drop down And pour abundantly on man.
Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds, The thunder from His canopy?
Look, He scatters His light upon it, And covers the depths of the sea.
For by these He judges the peoples; He gives food in abundance.
He covers His hands with lightning, And commands it to strike.
His thunder declares it, The cattle also, concerning the rising storm.
Exodus 9:18-26 "Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause very heavy hail to rain down, such as has not been in Egypt since its founding until now.
"Therefore send now and gather your livestock and all that you have in the field, for the hail shall come down on every man and every animal which is found in the field and is not brought home; and they shall die."'"
He who feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his livestock flee to the houses.
But he who did not regard the word of the LORD left his servants and his livestock in the field.
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt--on man, 0n beast, and on every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt."
And Moses stretched out his rod toward heaven; and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground. And the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt.
So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, so very heavy that there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
And the hail struck throughout the whole land of Egypt, all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail struck every herb of the field and broke every tree of the field.
Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail.
Job 38:25-30 "Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water, Or a path for the thunderbolt,
To cause it to rain on a land where there is no one, A wilderness in which there is no man;
To satisfy the desolate waste, And cause to spring forth the growth of tender grass?
Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
From whose womb comes the ice? And the frost of heaven, who gives it birth?
The waters harden like stone, And the surface of the deep is frozen.
1 Kings 18:41-46 Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundant of rain."
So Ahab went up to the eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees,
and said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea." So he went up and looked, and said, "There is nothing." And seven times he said, "Go again."
Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, "There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!" So he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.'"
Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.
Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
